We’ve taken the traditional Pepperberry kraut juice which has a yummy tang, with a vibrant red colour, and mixed it with our delicious Kumquat shrub. This creation is a perfectly balanced, probiotic and refreshing tonic for all to enjoy. Looks good, tastes good!
Ingredients: Organic Red Cabbage, Wild Harvested Native Pepper Berries, Australian Sea Salt, Organic Kumquat, and Organic Raw Sugar.

Shrub is a fermented beverage made and fruit. At Gutsy we take the fruit, add a little sugar to give the friendly bacteria extra food to thrive and ferment for 4 – 8 months to make a fruity, fizzy, probiotic concentrate.
This tonic has a mild peppery note with a tang of citrus that pairs perfectly together. We love this straight out of the bottle, but if you want something more subtle you can mix it with soda water.
Keep your fermented Pepperberry and Kumquat Tonic refrigerated before and after opening if possible.
Our Gutsy Fermentery is based in Brisbane, QLD. If you buy our tonic online, we’ll ship it directly to your door anywhere in Australia. When we ship your drink we pack it into a thermal box with ice packs. This keeps it cool for a few days depending on the outside temperature.
The thing is that our Australian Summers get pretty hot, and if your package is traveling a long way your drink will eventually warm up. It doesn’t matter if your drink warms up, just pop it in the fridge when it arrives.
