A prized ferment in Asian cultures as a delicacy and a healing remedy for colds, cough and flu. 

Having fermented in raw bush honey sourced from the Scenic Rim for 18 months, every clove of garlic has now caramelised and taken on the sweet notes of honey. 

This vintage garlic honey ferment is the perfect example of a beautiful marriage of flavours in the ingredients used. A spicy ferment in its earlier days, it mellows and takes on an umami depth as it ages. 

How to use

Add a teaspoon drizzled on buttered sourdough toast, whisked into salad dressings, on avocado halves, oven baked chicken drumsticks or roasted veggies will bring absolute delight to the tastebuds. Feeling under the weather? Take a few teaspoons of this neat ferment. 

Being a small batch ferment, we have only 50 jars available this year. Once gone, it will be another year of waiting.
